Gardiner & Foenander are pleased to offer landscape design services to childcare and educational centres across Ireland. Both of the firm’s partners have worked on numerous education projects – schools, universities, colleges and children’s centres – and are familiar with the intricacies of these types of projects, from designing specifically to meet and exceed the developmental needs of children to understanding the complexities of funding.
Using our experience working on public sector education projects, aside from design consultancy, we can offer assistance in managing grant applications as well as project management for the build. Below is an image taken from a current national school project we’re working on. The scheme includes an outdoor teaching space, growing garden, sensory garden and playing fields for free play.
As well as making the time spent at school infinitely more enjoyable for the children, it is proven that childcare and educational facilities with well designed outdoor amenity spaces are more attractive to the parents of prospective pupils too… So why not get in touch with us to see how we can help your centre.
Above are some images taken from one of our current projects – A children’s garden for a local crèche. The scheme does not include any proprietary playground equipment but instead aims to challenge and stimulate using natural landscape elements.
