We, Kerrie Gardiner CMLI BLA BA(Hons) and Mark Foenander MGLDA PgDip(LArch) BA(Hons) are qualified landscape architects each with over 20 years experience designing and managing landscape projects for established design firms in the U.K. and Ireland. We have consulted on commercial and public jobs ranging from macro scale urban plans through municipal parks, city squares, town centres & high streets, community gardens, schools, hospitals and university campuses.
Now, working from our studio in County Galway, we aim to translate all of our experience into a friendly but professional design service for house-builders, homeowners and fellow design consultants in Ireland.
Aside from her role in Gardiner & Foenander, Kerrie is Head of Show Gardens and Horticultural Features for Bord Bia Bloom. She is a judge on RTÉ's Supergarden, and has been an assessor for the annual Association of Landscape Contractors Ireland’s (ALCI) Awards.
Kerrie is a chartered member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) and Mark is an accredited member of the Garden and Landscape Design Association of Ireland (MGLDA).
Approach
We aim to create a vision for our clients and then help them to focus on achieving it. We try to raise their aspirations and inspire them to become passionate about their outdoor spaces; To get families excited about realising the potential of their site and then providing them with the means to make it happen. We believe in listening carefully and respecting the landscape and architectural context of each individual site.
